‘Mawlid‘ is Celebrated by Muslims during the month of Rabi-ul-Awal, the third month of the Muslim calendar. Also commonly known as ‘Milad un Nabi’, this day is observed as a public holiday in Pakistan as well as countries with a large Muslim population as it commemorates the anniversary of the birth of Holy Prophet, Hazrat Muhammad (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم). This year Eid Milad un Nabi is being celebrated on 30.10.2020 (Friday). In this regard, Adequate arrangements at Punjab Constabulary have been completed to celebrate this sacred day with religious enthusiasm and devotion. Masjids and official buildings have been beautifully decorated with lights.
