General Darbar and Cancer Awareness Camp on World Cancer Day at Battalion No.3 PC Multan

World Cancer Day is an international day marked on February 4 to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection, and treatment. World Cancer Day aims to save millions of preventable deaths each year by raising awareness and education about cancer and pressing governments and individuals across the world to take action against the disease.

On 04.02.2020 a Cancer Awareness Camp was arranged by Mr. Zafar Buzdar SP/Battalion Commander, at Battalion No.3 PC Multan as per instructions of IGP, Punjab. Mr. Kunwar Shahrukh, Addl: IGP/Commandant honoured this event as a Chief Guest and conducted a General Darbar in order to listen to the grievances of the Force. Necessary instructions/orders were issued on the spot. Mr. Raza Abbas Naqvi, DSP/DBC also participated as a guest. A medical team was also invited there. A senior Dr. made a sententious speech on the topic and highlighted some medical points. Some jawans donated blood on this occasion. At the end of this prestigious ceremony, some Officers were granted CC-I Certificates on account of their good performance.
