“Think not of those who are slain in Allah’s way as dead. Nay they live finding their sustenance in the presence of their Lord.”

As per instructions of IG Police, Punjab Captain (R) Arif Nawaz, Youm-e-Shohda-e-Police (Police Martyrs Day) was observed all over Punjab as well as in Punjab Constabulary on 04 Aug 2019. Commandant PC, Kunwar Shahrukh (PSP) endorsed these instructions in order to boost morale and honour the sacrifices of members of the force. Officers of Punjab Constabulary visited the houses of Martyres and spent time with their families. The steps to remember and commemorate sacrifices of the martyred are also part of the policy to keep morale intact.
