Daily anti-riot drills and other training activities have been resumed at Punjab Constabulary while taking all precautions against COVID-19 as per instructions of Mr. Muhammad Ehsan Tufail, Addl; IGP/Commandant Punjab Constabulary.
Today on 12.09.2022, Faisal Shahkar, Inspector General of Police, Punjab visited Punjab Constabulary Farooqabad and honoured the 14th Anti-Riot Course Passing Out Parade. Mr. Muhammad Ehsan Tufail, Addl: IGP/Commandant, Punjab Constabulary and Muhammad Idrees Ahmed DIG/Deputy Commandant, Punjab Constabulary received the guest.
PC Force demonstrated anti-riot drills to disperse the charged protestors through professional tactics. IGP Punjab appreciated the practical exercises of the force to deal with miscreants and emphasized to continue Anti-Riot Refresher Courses to enhance the capacity of police constabulary personnel as regular features.
465 Punjab Constabulary personnel participated in the two-weeks Anti-Right course. However, in his speech Commandant, Punjab Constabulary said that more than 7000 officers/officials have undergone Anti-Riot Course in the previous 10 months. He also ensured that all possible steps will be taken to provide the force with modern resources, advanced professional training and other facilities. Today on 26.08.2022 Mr. Ehsan Tufail Addl: Inspector General of Police/Commandant PC visited Battalion No.2 PC Rawalpindi. An “Ijlaas e Aam” was held in order to address the issues being faced by the force. Necessary instructions/orders were issued on spot. In his address, he briefed the force about upcoming events/duties in the scenario of the current law & order situation. He also encouraged them to boost their morale/performance.
In the end, he emphasized the force to follow the chain of command for redressal of their grievances, and in case of extreme emergency, his Whatsapp no is available for the force.
